The workshop will be held at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) campus in Gif-sur-Yvette, France, outside Paris. You can view a map of campus here; the meeting will take place in the Château (building #3), pictured above.

You can get from the Charles de Gaulle Airport to Gif-sur-Yvette either by taxi or by train, using the RER B line. A taxi takes around 50 minutes and costs approximately 90-115€. The trip on the RER-B is about an hour and 20 minutes, but it is direct. The cost is 11.50€.
Tickets for the train are on sale at the entrance to each of the two RER stations at the airport. Every second train goes all the way from the airport to Gif-sur-Yvette (frequency: every 15 mins), except during a window from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Board the train that has the terminus of St. Remy les Chevreuse; the sign above the platform will display the terminus. If you take a train whose terminus is not St. Remy les Chevreuse, change at Luxembourg, Port Royal, or Denfert Rochereau to a following train on the same platform.
Directions for getting to the RER station from your terminal at the airport are below.
From Terminal 1:
Follow the signs to RER, RoissyRail, Paris by Train. The Green shuttle bus to the Terminal 1 RER train station leaves from the lower “boutiques” level of terminal 1. The shuttle bus ride to the station is free and takes about 5 minutes (frequency: about every 10 minutes).
From Terminal 2:
The Terminal 2 RER train station is below Terminal 2, situated between the C/D and E/F Halls. Follow the signs to Gare TGV – RER, RoissyRail, Paris by Train.
From Terminal 3:
The RER station is a short walk (300 m, 5-10 minutes). Follow the signs to Gare TGV, RER B, RoissyRail, Paris by train.
You can get to Gif-sur-Yvette from Orly by train or taxi. A taxi costs approximately 40-50€ and takes around 30 minutes. The train from Orly to Gif-sur-Yvette costs 12.05€ and takes approximately 40 minutes.
Tickets are on sale in the airport terminal, close to the exit door. Take the Orlyval shuttle train to the RER-B station in Antony. Orlyval shuttles depart every 5 to 7 minutes from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. When you arrive in Antony, switch to the RER-B train headed in the direction of St. Remy les Chevreuse. To find out a train’s terminus and its station stops, refer to the sign above the platform. Every second train will go to Gif-sur-Yvette.
From Orly South (Sud) terminal:
Use Exit K.
From Orly West (Ouest) terminal:
Use either Exit J or W.
From any of the five train stations in Paris, first go first to the RER-B line at any of the following stations: Gare du Nord, Les Halles, St-Michel, or Denfert Rochereau. From there, take a train going in the direction of St. Remy les Chevreuse. Your destination is the Gif-sur-Yvette station.
For trains arriving in Gare du Nord (Benelux and UK) and Gare de L’Est (Germany), you can walk directly to the “Gare du Nord – Magenta” station. Take the RER-B going in the direction of St. Remy les Chevreuse. Get off the train at the Gif-sur-Yvette station.
To get from the Gif-sur-Yvette train station to the CNRS Campus, follow Rue Alphonse Pécard until you reach the Gif-sur-Yvette church. Turn left onto Rue Henri Amodru, and then turn right at the Post Office. Continue straight ahead until you reach the campus entrance. This should be a ten minute walk.
