Meeting participants are responsible for their own lunches. You can purchase your lunch at the full service cafeteria on campus. Please note that you must pay in cash as other forms of payment are not accepted, but there is an ATM available on the premises.

Getting to the Lab from the Airport

Denver International Airport (DEN) is about 50 miles away from the Mesa Lab.

There are a variety of options to get from the airport to the Lab, detailed on UCAR’s website. You can find a brief overview of your options below.

• Car rental: This option is useful for getting to the Mesa Lab from your hotel, too, as the shuttles running from the hotel to the Lab may fill up. Rental companies at the Denver Airport are listed here.
• Public transportation: Denver’s RTD public transportation system has skyRide buses running to and from the NCAR campus. View the details under “Employees and official visitors: skyRide plus NCAR/UCAR Shuttle” here. You can also use RTD’s trip planner to help you get to NCAR. All buses require exact change or an EcoPass; more on fares here.
